The water spot sensor is an economical alternative to the water leak sensor
Unlike the water leak sensor, this sensor does not detect water over an area but just in the location where it is placed.
The water leak sensor can detect water from just a few drops. This sensor requires a small level of water to be present to create the electrical field between the 2 metal rods for water to be detected. When the water disappears, the sensor will return a DRY status.
